PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHY

1. What’s the difference between professional portrait photography and preset-driven photos?
Professional portrait photography is tailored to you. I adjust lighting, composition, and editing to enhance your unique features, ensuring every photo reflects your personality and style. Each image is hand-edited to bring out the best in every detail.

In contrast, preset-driven photography applies the same filter to all images, often leading to inconsistent colors and unnatural tones. While presets can be trendy, they lack the personal touch and technical precision that professional portrait photography provides.

2. How many images will I receive?
The number of images depends on the package you choose. For hourly event coverage, I deliver 75-100 lightly edited digital images per hour. For portrait sessions, the number of final images is based on the specific package selected.

3. What is your editing style?
I focus on clean, timeless edits. Each photo is carefully adjusted for color balance, lighting, and overall polish. I do not apply heavy filters or presets that create a "one-size-fits-all" look.

4. How do I book a session or event?
Simply contact me through my website, email, or social media. A $50 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your session, with the remaining balance due 5 days before the session.

5. What happens if I need to reschedule?

I understand that life happens! Rescheduling is allowed with at least 48 hours' notice. Deposits are transferable but non-refundable.

6. What should I wear for my portrait session?
I recommend wearing solid colors or subtle patterns that reflect your personality. Avoid overly busy prints, as they can distract from the overall look. I’m happy to provide guidance based on your session goals.

EVENT PHOTOGRAPHY

7. Can you explain the process of creating our photo album?
Your photo album is crafted using the images you select from your online gallery. Once you've made your selections, I’ll design a proof of the album layout for your review. You’ll have the opportunity to make any changes before the final order is placed, ensuring the album is exactly how you envision it

8. Do you choose the music for our video?
Yes, I select the music for your highlight video because it plays a vital role in setting the tone, pace, and overall emotion of your story. Music is a powerful tool that enhances the creative storytelling of your video, and selecting the right track ensures the film flows seamlessly. To ensure legal and high-quality music, I exclusively use licensed tracks from a curated library of thousands of songs. Licensing popular songs can cost thousands of dollars, and using unlicensed music is illegal. My goal is to choose unique, meaningful tracks that reflect your individuality and complement your special day.

9.What is the difference between the highlight reel and RAW footage?
The highlight reel is a beautifully edited, cinematic video that captures the most meaningful moments of your day, set to music in a music video style. It’s designed to tell your story in a concise, artistic way.

 

The RAW footage, on the other hand, is a lightly edited, chronological video of your entire day. It includes longer clips of events like the ceremony, speeches, and other key moments. Depending on your package, the RAW footage can range from 45 minutes to 2 hours or more. By offering both, I ensure you have an artistic keepsake with the highlight reel and a more comprehensive documentation of your day with the RAW footage.

DELIVERY​

10. How will I receive my photos & video?

Your photos and videos will be delivered digitally for your convenience. For portrait photography sessions, you’ll receive a link to an online gallery where you can view, download, and share your lightly edited images, typically within 2-3 weeks. For event photography and videography, photos are delivered through an online gallery within 3-6 weeks, while videos, including highlight reels and RAW footage, are uploaded online with private download links and delivered within 4-8 weeks. Portrait sessions have a quicker turnaround due to fewer images, while event coverage involves more extensive editing to ensure the highest quality for your special day.

11. Can I print my photos?
Yes! While I don’t offer prints directly, all delivered images are high-resolution and ready for printing at a lab of your choice.

TRAVEL FEES & PAYMENTS

12. Do you charge travel fees for events?
Travel within Whitfield County is included. For events outside this area, a travel fee may apply based on distance.

13. What payment methods do you accept?
I accept cash, credit cards, and online payments such as Zelle, PayPal, CashApp or Venmo. Full payment is required 5 days before your session or event.
